One round to be over a course of fences, with a time allowed but not against the clock. Competitors with an equality of faults for first place will go forward to a jump off against the clock. Ties below first place will be broken by the time taken to complete the first round.

Power and Speed
A course of fences in 2 parts, the power portion and the speed portion the first part, power, must be jumped clear for the riders to immediately continue on to the second, speed portion, without a break in the round. All rides that incur faults in the first portion of the course will be whistled out by the judge before beginning the second phase.
Placings are calculated on faults and time for the second (speed) phase, and faults for the first (power) phase for those who do not continue on to the Speed portion. Equality of faults in the power portion will result in a tie.

Horses may compete only once in a class.
